Jimmy Page "Ready"

Jimmy Page turned up at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Wednesday. More importantly, he told The Daily Star's Kim Dawson that he will release new music this year, and his website is ready to launch:

Led Zep icon Jimmy Page has vowed to finally release new music this year.

The guitarist, 67, told me: “I’ve been waiting to launch it on a new website. I’ve never had a website. Now it’s ready.”

The website is JimmyPage.com, which has been "coming soon," for the last year. What was never clear was why he was building the site. Now we know it's for the intention of launching new music. Hopefully it will go live soon, with Jimmy Page music to follow.
